I'm more interested in the medical and climatological projects.

I have since discovered that there are potentially two projects with 64
bit applications: Chess960 and SIMAP. The latter won't have work for a
few weeks, I think.

Although I've always been interested in cosmology and the question of
life elsewhere, it's not obvious what the point of SETI is, given that
even if we detect something there can never be any communication
because of the distances involved.
