X screen not centered

Long, long ago I had that same problem on a different box.  Turned out I had 
forgotten to use xvidtune from root.  Once I did that, the settings stuck.  
Haven't used xvidtune in a couple years, or more, but seems that saving the 
file was an additional step, somewhere.
