Ah! A good GUI for LVM would be really nice! And yes, there is learning
curve to go through.

I've no idea how LVM2 works. Maybe I should try booting a live CD on one
of my machines with LVs and see they can be seen. That'll keep me quiet
for an hour or so this evening!
