Really ugly console font

Are you getting the same spindly looking font the text installer uses? I get
the same thing, but not right away. I have quiet and splash off. Init starts
in the vga= mode I set on the kernel line, 0x122 or 788 or 0x314, but then
near the time init is done it switches from the nice selected video mode to
a similar HxV one with the the barely visible skinny ugly fonts the
installer uses. ATI.
