Your camera is attempting to draw more power than the USB interface can
supply. Are you plugging your device into a high-power USB port, such as
that use for a camera or are you plugging into a low-power port such as that
used for a keyboard or mouse?

Check your motherboard manual to determine which USB ports are which, if you
have a selection.

For example, if I plug my thumbdrive into the USB port on the back of my
keyboard it won't work. If I use the ports on the motherboard, it's fine.
