Default Resolution on new (edgy) install

So as far as you know it would be considered a bug.  If it can detect
optimum resolution it should also be able to find maximum resolution.
If that is the case it should write xorg.conf to default to optimum
but still let the maximum setting be an option.  Now I just need to
figure out what package to file it under and look for any other
problems.
