How to install GnuCash?

Hi,

Went to the GnuCash site and noticed version 2.0 is available!  Then
checked Synaptic but it only has the older 1.x version.

Is there an easy way to install version 2?

I tried downloading it -there's no specific Ubuntu version- but it just
gave me a folder with loads of files and no clear way to proceed with
the install.  (It actually seems they expect people to compile?  I don't
compile. Ever.)

So is there like a repository that has it?
