GNOME or KDE

I Ubuntu, I would say, as far as polish goes, Gnome is better. However, that
seems to be largey a function of Gnome being the Ubuntu default and getting
more development time.

If KDE got the same kind of devotion to making everything feel polished as
Gnome does, I think that would go away.

So, basically, all other things being equal, I think KDE is much better than
Gnome.

Then again, as the other guys have said much of it is based in opinion. I'm
sure you'll find plenty who disagree with me. :)
