Best way to install ubuntu with fvwm2 Window Manager?

No, space isn't an issue, I'm more concerned about non-standard ways
used to start X up.  Nearly all distributions do their own thing as
regards X start-up and it can be a real pain to disentangle them
sometimes in order to get another X Window manager running.

I've investigated further and there are pretty simple instructions for
opening LAMP on Ubuntu Desktop on the Ubuntu web site. So at least
adding LAMP to Desktop is easy.
