can vmware player give the same ip to all guest OSs?

Hi,

I am trying to get vmware player to assign the same ip address to all OS
emulations I launch. for example, when I emulate DamnSmallLinux, its
ifconfig gives 192.168.185.124. When I emulate Debian Stable, its
ifconfig gives 192.168.185.137. How can I force the player to give the
same ip to all OS's I launch? I don't launch 2 emulations at the same
time..

I tried assigning the same ethernet mac address using the vmx file, but
that didn't work.
