Hi, maybe your problem is because linux doen't have a specific driver
for your wireless card, so that you need to use "ndiswrapper" four use
de windows drivers in linux (i have to use with my dell inspiron). I
have write a post in my blog
(http://jfestrada.blogspot.com/2006/11/ubntu-edgyndiswrapperbcm43xx.html)
with a how to, but is in spanish, maybe you can see, and if you don't
know anything of spanish don't worry tomorrow i'll translate to english
too.
Regards.
