Hi,
My system: Dapper x86
When I first installed mplayer and plugin for firefox (1.5),
it can be normally invoked by the plugin
mediaplayerconnectivity.<mediaplayerconnectivity>
Usually you see an icon from this plugin, whenever there is a media
widget (such as windows media player) that's there on the page.
But this icon just dissappered and I cannot invoke mplayer from it after a
few more apps were installed,
such as Audacious, which I menually compiled with a few dependencies
mannually installed:
libpango1.0-dev libgtk2.0-dev libglade2-dev bison libbinio-dev
liblircclient-dev libogg-dev libvorbis-dev libvorbisfile3 libwavpack-dev
libsndfile1-dev libmpcdec-dev libjack0.100.0-dev libsamplerate0-dev
libartsc0-dev libsidplay1-dev libsidplay2-dev gawk libresid-builder-dev
libcdio-cdda-dev libsdl1.2-dev libcurl3-dev timidity alsa-firmware-loaders
alsa-source alsa-tools
I don't know if Automatix2 and EasyUbuntu could mess up things as well,
because I also installed these two. But I don't quite remember what else I
used it.
Any idea?
Thanks.
Beinan
