Linux version of XP Media Center

This is pretty cool. I was contacted by a large construction company to
consult on their "digital home" project. One of the links they sent to
me was this: http://www.exceptionalinnovation.com/products.php
What they said was, "We want THAT but not with Microsoft." I thought,
GREAT!!! Somebody has finally woke up! I was on the phone with the guy
and he said, "Hey, I like linux. I have been using this OS my kid put on
my computer. Ubuntu its called." It was amazing to hear someone that
knows nothing about computers (for the most part) to tell me he uses
linux in a office situation. 

So he wants to install a media center type setup but for linux. This is
going to have to be a from scratch thing - isnt it?
