Projector/switching & wireless configuration

Hi,
I have a HP dv2000 laptop running Ubuntu 6.10. I am need help with the
following:

1. I cannot switch to a projector/monitor display from inside Ubuntu, Fn+F4
does not function, it works with any windows desktop but not with Ubuntu, I
tried configuring various options in Ubuntu but nothing works, any
suggestions on how should I overcome this issue, I actually booted the
machine nearly 30 times and tried various resolution options with only two
showing: 1024X800 and 1024X768 (I think that’s what it is) at 60MHz.

2. How can I configure the wireless card built into the laptop? How can I
also configure Bluetooth? Has anyone tried the mic and web cam installation?
