libopenexr-dev installs fine here. Do you have non-Canonical (no pun
intended) repositories in your sources.list(5)? Is your apt cache
current for Edgy?

Where does ``apt-cache policy mesa-common-dev'' point as a candidate
location/repo? That version certainly does not exist in any Ubuntu release.
