  Did you say no to setting the siymbolic links to /usr ?
If so why, if not then it should be working, unless your firefox is installed 
somewhere different from the default. You will need to symlink the plugins 
from either /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins or from wherever you installed 
RealPlayer to. The plugins are in the mozilla directory inside the realplayer 
one. What does about:plugins typed into the url bar in firefox tell you ?
