Call to undefined function: mysql_connect()

I ma getting the following error when I go to a php website that
connects to a mysql database:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: mysql_connect()
in /usr/share/mythtv/mythweb/includes/init.php on line 54

I have the following installed:

php4-mysq
libapache2-mod-php4
apache2
php4
libapache2-mod-auth-mysql
mysql-server-5.0

I am running on dapper

Any ideas?
