SIOCGIFFLAGS error:

I get  the same error message.

SIOCGIFFLAGS error: No such device

This is the error as copied from the pop up dialog box.

I know  it is looking for a once default wireless or wired  network
device that is no longer  installed, in my case.

To get this  error all "we"  have to do is boot & click on the network
status icon in the menubar.
It  wants to connect to a default device  that is no longer  there.  I
removed the device physically.
Once I right-click on  the network icon I can go to properties & select
the device  wanted - eth2  in my case.
I  have no idea at this point how to  remove these old drivers so  I
may  just leave it for now,
