abiword and non-EN dictionaries

You do not need to use any of the dictionaries from the AbiSource web
site - AbiWord on Linux uses "Enchant", which is a spell checking
abstraction library.  What this means is that it can use whatever your
preferred spell checker is for your system.  In a default Ubuntu
install, the installed speller is aspell, so just install aspell-cc
where cc is your country or language code (en, es, and so on), or just
search for Aspell in Synaptic.  Your dictionary will then be available
in all your Enchant-using applications!
