I see now what you mean. I haven't tried it, but I would guess so since
it says, "The alternate install CD (...) provides for the following
situations: (...) LVM and/or RAID partitioning(...)"

In this screenshot is does not become clear what is hidden behind the
"manual" option, and that's the best i found
