I guess it depends on how you set it up I guess... if you look at the
top of the thread I link to above, you will see another link to a
thread that I used in order to set up and config Compiz and XGL... to
revert back again (if you followed the guide) you'd do this

I'm afraid I'm no expert though... maybe you should repost in Dapper
discussion as you tend to get answers quicker there (like I did...)
