I updated Ubuntu to Dapper a week or do ago and was very pleased. I
wanted to see the Kubuntu version, but it didn't want to install over
the Ubuntu. I removed the Ubuntu and tried again, but the install
crashed again.

Now there is just an empty space next to XP on my computer.

For what it's worth, the time recognition was off during installation,
and the crash occurred each time when I selected manual partitioning.
The live version looked pretty good, and included audio alarms which I
was not able to manage in Ubuntu.

Any suggestions about why the installation crashed?

Avraham
