Frank,
I'm running Dapper and this fte version is from the Ubuntu repositories.
It's version 0.50.0-1.2ubuntu1
Could be a glitch in my install, but, everything else about it runs fine.
No character or font issues. No directory or file issues.
Does yours work or still give a seg-fault error, if you start it with sudo??
