Cool. What resolution and monitor are you using? I'm seeing this 
problem a lot lately and it's happening on unlikely combinations. For 
example, on my setup letting xorg do it's own thing I get something 
similar at 1600x1200, whereas 1792x1344 is perfect. If anything I 
would think it would be the other way round.
