Administration -> Shared Folders basically doesn't work. True?

I mostly just use the 'Services' window from System -> Administration.
Just click the checkbox off and on again.
But erm, if I had to use the command line, which I try to touch as
little as humanly possible, then I suppose I'd do something like 'sudo
killall smbd' followed by 'sudo smbd'. :)
