How to edit PDF?

So sorry to jump right in this discussion. I was looking for an answer
for my problem when I saw this, so maybe someone here can help? 



I wanna do this: http://creativecommons.org/technology/xmp-help but it
is in "Windows Language"...



So the question is: How do I embed an xmp metadata file to a pdf? I
checked man pdftk and there is only one references to xmp. A support
person from creativecommons said pdftk devels are working on that, put
it's not ready yet. Is there an alternative?
