wine & USB

Having successfully gotten Photodex's CompuPic to work with wine, I decided to 
try getting Audible's software to work, as well, so I wouldn't have to go 
back to XP just to get my audio content.  So I am wondering...

Is there any way to get a USB device like the Zen Nano recognized by wine?  
Has anyone done this?  Here's the deal:  Audible's software loads & 
works --all except for the USB device recognition through wine.  I have 
attempted to install the requisite drivers from the Creative CD but I am 
uncertain as to whether it actually did.  This is my first serious foray 
w/wine & some help with this would be appreciated.
