How do I file an installation report?

A few days ago I upgraded from Breezy to Dapper (actually I gave up on
the upgrade and did a clean install) and I have noticed a few problems
and wondered what's the current procedure for doing an installation
report. I gather the "Hardware Database" tool isn't in Dapper. I found
the installation-report package, but the docs don't make it clear
whether the reporting is for Ubuntu or Debian.

A couple of specific issues ...

1) Nautilus recognizes a blank CD-R disk but when I try to burn it
tries for awhile and gives up. I was able to get cdrecord to burn an
iso, but only after doing some strange things. Sorry I can't remember
if it worked under Breezy. I've noticed a few bugs in the database --
should I put a "me too" onto one OR create a new one and let someone
decide if it's a duplicate?

2) When I press the power button the machine turns off. (Yeah, I
know.) Under Breezy, the machine would go through a proper controlled
shutdown when pressing the button, but this is immediate. I just
noticed this one so I haven't done a search yet.
