Dapper Flight 5 Install - Networking issues

Hi,
I installed using the Flight 5 Install CD, and installation proceeded
normally, without any errors.
After logging in after the installation, my networking is not working.
the eth0 interface cannot seem to connect and get a dhcp lease.
While installing, the network configuration proceeded without errors,
and updated package lists were downloaded, since the update-manager
tells me that there are 300+ packages to be updated. However, now,
doing $sudo ifdown eth0 and then $sudo ifup eth0 results in an error
that says:
Error: Temporary failure in name resolution.
On this same desktop, Breezy works without any problems. I use Breezy
for day to day use.
Please let me know if I can improve on this description. Should I file
a bug report?
Thank you.
