About the sound, I was pretty dumb earlier, because, some of the
options in the Volume Control Applet (from the GNOME panel) were set
to mute (thought PCM, PC Speaker, and the left AND right channels were
not mute, which is why I never really noticed). I just enabled all of
the other options and it now works just fine. But shouldn't the
install 'just work'? Why were the others mute by default?
In any case, the box is still on 640x480 and I don't know how to go
about it. I am attaching the outputs, including the one for the sound
card.
Thanks for taking interest, and if you are developing ubuntu :) (im
guessing from your alternate email id), then hope this helps.
And did I mention earlier that its a 32 bit version?
