upgrade to dapper - ipw2200/nm-applet problems?

The new nm-applet ignores any configured network adapters. Simply open
up your System/Administration/Network control panel, and select your
wireless connection. Click Properties and uncheck "Enable this
connection". You may need to reboot (or simply do "sudo dpkg-reconfigure
network-manager" from a command prompt).
