Running Ubuntu Remotely from Windows

Brilliant. I went System/Preferences/remote desktop, allowed the sharing
of the desktop etc. Downloaded the VNC package from
http://www.realvnc.com/products/personal/ installed just the viewer ,
ran it, typed in the hostname and BINGO. Couldn't be easier.

Yea, using VNC you could do it.
When I tried it a while back you had to hit a button on the Ubuntu
system to allow the remote access, but i'm sure there's ways to adjust
that.
