yes it does ... I can get into the system fine in single user mode, as
long as I don't start up X

not sure ... new to ubuntu ;P xorg.conf loads the nv driver .. which is
the nvidia drivers ... tho lspci doens't detect the VGA card correctly

800x600 doesn't even work ;P and I'm sure a 256MB nvidia can handle that ;P

the bootup works fine on cd's and install ... I run into problems only
once X starts
