Xgl doesn't start with fglrx

hint:

the Xgl server doesn't work on display :0.0 on ATI cards. Just use :1
as your display and you will be set.

This means: do not ln -sf /usr/bin/Xgl /etc/X11/Xgl ... because that
will NOT work ;-).

A few ways to get help:

#xgl-ubuntu on irc.freenode.net

https://wiki.ubuntu.com/XglHowto (general)
https://wiki.nurd.se/global:howto:xgl:session (very good)
http://lems.kiskeyix.org/puntoyaparte/article.php?story_id=58 (my
shameless plug to my blog, where i described the ordeal)

cheers
