Try the Community chat area of the forums or the sounder mailing list.
But to be honest, you are better off discussing the GPL on an FSF list
or a computer/law list.
(Note that the original post, as opposed to the subsequent ranting, was
in fact addressed at Ubuntu and has been answered).
