See if the BIOS can show the drives as SATA insted of EIDE. I've got a
server that can do both. I leave it as SATA but I believe Linux can see
either one.
Make sure it's not a RAID card. My servers have that as well. It doesn't
work but I see the drives. I went into the software on the card/chip and
turned off raid.
