Upgrading Beta Release from CD

I have been using Dapper since Flight 4; upgrading once in a couple of
days till it became Beta. I last upgraded in May end, _just_ before
the final release came out, while I was still at the college (where
the internet is free). Now that I'm back home for the summer, I got my
copy of the final release (thanks to ShipIt!), and added the CD to my
apt repository list (using "apt-cdrom"). Now, "sudo apt-get update",
then "sudo apt-get upgrade" only upgrades the kernel-headers module,
and all other packages are not even detected as being candidates for
upgrade. I'm sure there is stuff on the CD that is newer than my
system. Even the artwork on the system is from the old beta package.
What should I do?
