pci problems (was Re: server woes)

All-

I should clarify. My problem isn't that so
much with no knowing how to set up my
network, as it is with not understanding
why lspci is returning a big nothing.

I've verified that the pci module is being
loaded. There are no other pci cards on
the machine, but I used to run a debian
install on the same hardware with no
problems.

So, does anyone have a suggestion as
to how I can get lspci to give me some
usefull information? I'm using the
server distribution of dapper, so I only have
access to a command line.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks.
