Dapper upgrade hangs - what to do?

Well, I took a chance and rebooted. The system came up okay, same as 
before I started the upgrade process, and so far I haven't seen any 
problems. That's a relief. ;-)

Soon I will try installing from the command line using the CDROM. I'll 
let you know how it goes.
