Intel PRO/WIreless 2200bg wireless problems.

I use that hardware and it works fine under Dapper.

However, I did have a problem when switching from Breezy and also
switching to Network Manager from the "normal" network infrastructure in
Breezy. The symptom was the same.

Go to /etc/network

There you have a file "interfaces", with settings (inlcuding your WEP
key) for the interfaces. Make a copy of the file for backup, and make a
new file (or just comment out all else) only containing:

auto lo
iface lo inet loopback

It seems Network Manager does not want to deal with interfaces that are
also handled by the other network management system. This fixed it for
me.
