You said you had two NICs.  This output shows that you have 3:  an Intel
10/100 adapter (e100), a DEC Tulip-based 10/100 adapter (tulip), and the
Davicom adapter (dmfe).

What do your 'cat /proc/interrupts' output look like? You might have a
conflict between two or more of these cards.  In particular, I don't
think the tulip card plays well with others using its IRQ.
