Samba and Printer Setup.

I just installed the new Kubuntu Dapper release a few days ago.
I was having problems with the samba version that was installed. It did
not seem that a full version was installed by the installer software.
At the same time, I was trying to install a printer that is connected to
a remote Windows 2000 computer. Going through the printer setup, I was
offered access to the printer via several methods, one being samba.
After removing and reinstalling the samba software, when I now try and
add a printer, I am no longer offered the choice of connecting to a
remote printer via samba.
Is there a way to get this functionality back?
