Install Dapper to FakeRaid 1?

Thanks for your help!



I am trying to get GRUB and /boot bootable from the CF/IDE device. Then
I would like it to continue booting the OS using the RAID. 



I have setup the two HDs with Linux softraid, the bult in fakeraid
wasn't being recognized but the Linux softraid works. 



I have also been able to get GRUB to boot to the GRUB prompt. Now I can
see that it apparently cannot see the /dev/hda CF/IDE device when it
initially boots. It can load grub from it but cannot get to it's config
files and subsequent stages. It does see the other drives in the system
and can boot from them. 



The CF is ext2 and the others are ex3. I'm not sure if this is a timing
a compatilbity issue with the hardware and the CF or not. I am
considering trying LILO to see if it has the same problem recognizing
the device. 



If I run GRUB later from the OS it recognizes the drive just fine.
