Hi.
We working for non-profit organisation and we rebuild old pc's (PII & PIII)
and then donate them to children in Uganda. We install Edubuntu for them,
because this a very good sets of programs for the children, but we got one
problem. Usually we use second-hand hardware pieces and we have like about
30 Sound Blaster 16 cards (ISA) and Edubuntu did not detect them. I read
some instruction How to ..., like
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingSoundProblems?highlight=%28sound%29%7C%28card%29%7C%28detection%29
http://linux.iuplog.com/default.asp?item=94639
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=44753,
but still no luck. I don't know what we did wrong following these
instructions, but still no sound.
Could anyone give us quite simple instruction how to fix this problem,
PLEASE!!!!
