RE-Installed New 6.06 (Video Problem)

Did you install the nvidia binary drivers?

In your Xorg.conf file in /etc/X11/xorg.conf, are the lines to add more
resolutions.  You may want to edit your line to look like:

    SubSection     "Display"
        Depth       1
        Modes     "1280x1024" "1152x864" "1024x768" "800x600" "720x400"
"640x480"
    EndSubSection
