hi i had these problems for a while until i realized the dns nameservers were being automatically reset by ubuntu. I changed this (by changing dhcp script) and now everything works fine. Do programs like Gaim and Dillo work well on your computer? If not it might be a dns nameserver probem. -- Dafydd
