kacpid issues

I still have the same problem today on Dapper with the latest kernel.

Sometimes, when I'm running on battery, kacpid kicks in with it's
worker processes and proceeds to use 100% CPU. I've tried killing the
processes (they don't die with kill -9 as root), and putting the
notebook on AC power. kacpid does not stop.

Only a reboot will do it. Also, during the time kacpid is eating the
CPU it's gets pretty warm and the fans don't start.
