no "defrag" in Linux?

I now wish I'd never started this discussion on how to answer questions!

I really was not complaining about the answers given, just suggesting
that it would make things easier for many people who do not like the
command line if you had said what tune2fs actually was, not in detail,
but just a few words.  Mostly on this forum I have found the help to be
extremely good, and the writers to do more than just give a one word
answer.  I accept that it didn't take me long to find out more, and I
do not mind to having to do so; I just think that many users would not
even bother to look further, but wouild give up straight away.  Some
may feel that those people are not the type who should be trying Linux,
but I'm just attempting to be as helpful as possible when I answer to
repay some of the enormous help I have had over the last 15 months
since I started using Ubuntu.

That's it;  I've had my say and I'll now shut-up completely on this
thread.
