Not that I can see, it seems to abhor telling the world about what it is
doing.
The only logs I can find are to do with dpkg and the install.
There is a live help system you could power on one of the other boxes
and ask there.

Reading this I am a little confused.
Have you used the browser successfully on the laptop?

You can log on multiple times this is a "feature" of the service, funny
that, when money can be involved.

As is it a closed source binary blob, I would suggest uninstalling it.
Removing the repo.

Downloading the new version and trying it. The beta is running rather well.
Nothing to loose, everything to gain.

Download the binary and use the command line.

dpkg -i filename.foo

Nothing to loose, something to gain.
This is where closed source software excels at helping the user. ;-)
