What Computer to Buy?

I have two Thinkpads ( 600x and T20 ) and they run superbly on Kubuntu 
(6.06) I have also loaded Kubuntu, Ubuntu, pcLinuxos and Mephis on 
various IBM's, Toshibas and Hp laptops. Although it should be noted that 
not every distro works on every laptop eg. Kubuntu, Ubuntu, and 
PCLinuxos all ran fine on my 600x and t20 but Mandrake, Mephis and 
redhat failed to get past the install stage, but installed perfectly on 
my wifes Toshiba and a customers HP.
